Strength Training to Build Classic Body

Basic bodybuilding training is the best training to gain weight and build more muscle. Compound movement such as squat, deadlifts, or bench press are some example of the best basic bodybuilding training. In this post I will show you how to build your own classic physique. You will do this workout routine 3 non-consecutive days per week.

Workout A:

Squat : 3 sets x 8 reps
Bench Press :  3 sets x 8 reps
Deadlift : 3 sets x 8 reps

Workout B:
Front Squat : 3 sets x 8 reps
Overhead press : 3 sets x 8 reps
Chin Ups : 3 sets x 8 reps
(If you can't do chin up, you can replace it with Barbell Bent Over Row)

For example:

Week 1 :
Day 1: Workout A
Day 2: Workout B
Day 3: Workout A

Week 2:
Day 1: Workout B
Day 2: Workout A
Day 3 : Workout B

and so on...

Add small weight in the next week you train. For example if you did 140 lbs bench press, in the next week add 5 or 10 pounds to your bench press.
